AFM

AFM

AFM – Grade 0-4 (Please ask you supplier for an image and specifications)

AFM has an optimised uniformity coefficient to maximize filtration performance without causing pressure drops

AFM (grade 1) is a mechanical filtration media that will remove in excess of 97% of all particles in the water down to 5 micron with a bed depth of 1,200mm and flow velocity of 20m/hr.

AFM (Grade 0) will filter >97% of all particles in the water down to 1 micron, with no pre-coagulation or flocculation. At slower water flow rates and with the application of coagulation / flocculation, nominal filtration below 1 micron is a practical proposition with AFM, a performance previously only achieved by use of membranes.

Turbidity Removal Media

Turbidity Removal Water Filter Systems are designed to address water cloudiness and suspended solids, along with other sediment. Turbidity (haze or water cloudiness) is caused by presence of suspended solids that interfere with water clarity. They can include clay, silt, finely divided organic or inorganic matter, soluble colored organic compounds, and biological microorganisms. Turbidity particles can be as small as 2 micron in size.

Aquastab

Aquastab (Please ask you supplier for an image and specification)

Naturally Occurring Salts, Buffers, Stabilizers Almost all pesticides work more effectively in Acidic pH. (5.5-6.5). Pesticides belonging to Organophosphate, Carbamate, & Synthetic Pyrethroids are prone to Alkaline Hydrolysis. Under Alkaline pH, pesticide molecules of these group are quickly broken down (degraded) to become ineffective as pesticides. The speed of degradation is dependent on the pH of the solution and more Alkaline a solution, faster is its breakdown.. PGR such as Ga3 also require Acidic pH to perform well. Weedicides such as Glyphosate,2-4-D,Atrazine,Arpron 2 to be affected by salt content in water and work better if Aquastab is used along with them.

  • Aquastab pH contains a pH indicator, which allows its use at correct dose even without use of pH paper or meter
  • Aquastab pH works as an acidifier, and reduces the pH of alkaline& hard water. The buffers it contains stabilises the pH and prevents reversal of pH to alkaline level after some time.
  • Aquastab pH also sequesters salts in hard water which may interfere with pesticide molecule.
  • Aquastab pH can be used with all pesticide formulations with the exception of Copper, Sulphur, Ziram & sulfonyl urea. The application rate is dependent on:
  • • pH of water • Type and concentration of dissolved salts

    Calcite

Upon contact with Calcite, acidic waters slowly dissolve the calcium carbonate to raise the pH which reduces the potential leaching of copper, lead and other metals found in typical plumbing systems. Periodic back washing will prevent packing, reclassify the bed and maintain high service rates.

    Siliphos

The Siliphos media is used in Water Treatment to reduce scale build up in water pipes and corrosion caused.
By using the Siliphos Water Treatment system in your main water supply, it will slow down and stop corrosion by forming a thin protective layer over metallic surfaces.

    Carbon Media

Active charcoal carbon filters are most effective at removing chlorine, particles such as sediment. Carbon filtering is a method of filtering that uses a bed of activated carbon to remove contaminants and impurities, using chemical adsorption.
